Player Biography

Steven began his career at Motherwell FC, making his first-team debut against Aberdeen on November 29, 2008. During his time at Motherwell, he went on to play in over 50 games and represented Scotland at under 19s and 21s, before making his international debut in a 3-0 victory over Faroe Islands in November 2010.

Steven left Motherwell at the end of the 2012-13 campaign following a long-term injury that limited his appearances.

Following his exit from Motherwell, Steven went on to play for Ross County and Dumbarton before experiencing success with Welsh side The New Saints, winning two consecutive Premier League and League Cup doubles in 2016-17 and 2017-18, as well as being named in the Welsh Premier League Team of the Year for the 2016-17 season.

Following a successful spell in Wales, Steven returned to Scotland, signing for Livingston in the 2018-19 season, before joining his current side, Partick Thistle, in January 2019.
