Liam started his career with Queen’s Park, spending two seasons in the first-team and winning promotion in the 2015-16 season after beating Clyde 3-2 on aggregate.
After two seasons at Queen’s Park, Liam was signed by Motherwell to play for the under 20s, but made his first-team debut as a substitute in a 3–0 win against Hamilton Academical.
Following the end of the 2018-19 season, Liam signed for Edinburgh City where he has went on to play in the first-team.
