Tommy Muir Signs With Stenhousemuir After Annan Exit

Tommy Muir moves north to sign with Stenhousemuir after 2 years at Annan Athletic..

We are delighted to announce forward Tommy Muir has signed with Stenhousemuir ahead of the 2020/2021 season.

Muir joins from fellow league side Annan Athletic after two years under Peter Murphy.

Early in his career, Tommy spent several seasons at Scottish Lowland League outfit Dalbeattie Star. After back-to-back seasons as Star’s top goal scorer as well as Young Player of the Year in the 2017/2018 season, Tommy earned himself a move to Annan Athletic after impressing manager Peter Murphy on a trial.

Muir lived up to expectations in his first season at Galabank, scoring 15 goals in 44 seasons as Annan finished fourth in the league, just missing out on promotion after conceding an 86th minute penalty at Clyde to lose 2-1 on aggregate in the Scottish League One Playoff Final. Tommy’s goalscoring record kept improving as the following season he recorded 10 goals in 32 appearances before the season was suspended in March 2020.

Everyone at Superior Sports wishes Tommy all the best at his new club.
