We are delighted to announce that Shaun Want has today completed his move to Larne FC, subject to International Clearance.
The 25-year-old joins the club after a successful spell at Hamilton where he worked his way up from youth level to first team football, making a total of 68 appearances in the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Championship.
The central defender makes the move to Inver Park on a permanent basis and is keen to start a new challenge and get to work under his new boss Tiernan Lynch.
“It’s an opportunity I first heard about, and I wanted to get it done as quickly as I could. I would describe myself as an out and out defender who wants to keep clean sheets and I would do anything for that.”
“It’s been a great first day at the club. I got a flight this morning and it was straight to the training ground. I know a few of the lads but everyone has welcomed me. It’s been a breath of fresh air.”
