Scott Robinson Promoted to Premiership With Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock have been promoted to the Scottish Premiership after beating Arbroath 2-1 to claim the cinch Championship title.

Kilmarnock have clinched promotion back to the Premiership after beating Arbroath 2-1 to claim the cinch Championship title.

Robinson clinches promotion with the club in his first season at Rugby Park since signing from Livingston in June last year. The forward who has been out since the start of 2022 due to injury played a significant part in his first season, making 16 appearances in total.

Former Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has made a positive impact in his time in charge and has steered the club to an immediate return to the Premiership, winning 10 of his 17 league games since taking over the reins.

Visiting Arbroath midfielder and client James Craigen stunned the home crowd with an adequate finish inside the first ten minutes however late goals from Ash Taylor and Blair Alston sealed the title on the night from their nearest challengers and secured promotion in front of their home crowd.
