Falkirk stormed to a 6-2 victory this afternoon against Championship newcomers Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park. Robbie Leitch came off the bench to play the remaining 18 minutes and bagged himself the sixth goal for the away side in their second pre-season friendly match.
Lee Ashcroft made his second appearance for Dundee as they drew 2-2 against Scottish League One side Montrose. Ashcroft scored his first for the club and Dundee’s second of the afternoon, but Montrose fought back twice to share the spoils.

Jack Leitch was on the scoresheet as he made his Stirling Albion debut against Ayr United at Somerset Park having joined the club in August from Peterhead. It was a tough test for Kevin Rutkiewicz’s side as they travelled to the Scottish Championship outfit for their opening pre-season match. After an even first half, Leitch’s tidy headed finish and an own goal was enough to earn them victory on the day.
Elsewhere, Tommy Muir made his Stenhousemuir debut as they drew 1-1 with Dunfermline at Ochilview Stadium. Max Johnstone made his first start for AFC Fylde as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Longridge Town. Cameron Elliott played the full match for Stranraer as they came up short against a new look East Kilbride side who edged that game 3-2 and Liam Brown featured for Edinburgh City in their 3-0 victory at Penicuik Athletic.
