Nikolay Todorov scored his 6th goal of the season tonight for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, despite Scottish Cup exit.

Nikolay Todorov scored his 6th goal of the season tonight for Inverness Caledonian Thistle despite bowing out of the William Hill Scottish Cup at the hands of Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

Andrew Jackson’s fine finish gave the Premiership side the advantage going into the break after an evenly matched first half. After Inverness pushed forward more in the second half they were caught out with two quick fire goals from Scott Allan and Greg Docherty which put the tie to bed.

Carl Tremarco grabbed one back for the away side after a great reverse ball from client Charlie Trafford. However 2 further goals from Stephane Omeonga and Jamie Gullan did complete a good nights work for the home side.

Despite Hibernian’s comfortable advantage, client Nikolay Todorov pounced on a Tom Walsh corner on the 88th minute to tap in for Caley’s second of the night.

Full Time Score: Hibernian 5-2 Inverness Caledonian Thistle
