McGinty Pens Two Year Contract Extension

We are delighted to announce that Ayr United skipper Sean McGinty has extended his contract with the club for a further two years.

The central defender has been a pivotal part for the Honest Men this season under Lee Bullen’s management. Having played 27 league games thus far, United sit eight points off Championship leaders Queen’s Park with a game in hand.

Speaking to the club’s media team after agreeing his extension Sean expressed his delight at getting the deal done.

“I am delighted to sign an extension at Ayr United. I’m loving my time here and the club is only going in one direction.”

“We’ve lots to play for this season and there’s a great group of boys here who are all determined to achieve success at the club. As soon as discussions started over a new contract, I was really keen to get it done and can’t wait to see what comes next on this journey.”
