Dunfermline Athletic midfielder Matthew Todd netted a fine volley in tonight’s 6-0 pre-season victory over Forfar Athletic at Station Park.
The 20-year-old who signed a new contract with the club in January this year is looking to build up his fitness ahead of the new campaign as the team look to adjust to life under the new management of James McPake. McPake’s side have already got off to a positive start after a 2-0 win at Cove Rangers on Saturday in their first outing of the new season.
Further goals in tonight’s second pre-season win came from Lewis McCann, Kevin O’Hara (2), Miller Fenton and Nikolay Todorov.
Dunfermline open their Scottish League One account at home to Alloa Athletic on Saturday 30th July as they bid for an immediate return to the Scottish Championship.
