Congratulations to Dunfermline defender and club captain on his inclusion in this weeks SPFL Team of the Week.
The Pars extended their lead at the top of Cinch Scottish League One table to six points with a victory over nearest challengers Falkirk. While Craig Wighton got the winning goal, it was another game where they built their victory on a solid defensive showing, with Benedictus the stand out at centre back.
James McPake’s side are now unbeaten in their last two and have lost just once in their fourteen league games so far this season.
