Boyd Leaves Ross County Role

Scott Boyd leaves the role of Sporting Director at Ross County.

We can confirm Scott Boyd has left his role of Sporting Director at Scottish Premiership side Ross County. After 11 months in Dingwall, Scott leaves due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

Boyd made the move north after a successful spell at Kilmarnock under former manager Steve Clarke. The opportunity to return to Ross County was very appealing to Scott who previously made over 300 appearances for ‘the Staggies’ over a nine year spell.

Scott had the following to say after making his departure: ‘I have now left my role at Ross County Football Club following redundancy due to the impact of COVID-19 is having on the club. Time to reflect and consider my options going forward during these unprecedented times.’
